Upper Austria has become Austria´s leading federal state in the field of industry as well as in research and development. Technology centers play the key role in the development of innovative entrepreneurship and Softwarepark Hagenberg with its synergistic model of R&D, education and application represents an exemplary case. The Czech Republic has experienced successful economic progress since the 1990´s but it is missing a supportive innovation structure which is a basic condition for the further development of an environment for innovation. Especially in South Bohemia the creation of this infrastructure has just begun.

Project goals
The main goal of the project is to activate cooperation through the creation of crossborder networks of actors in the field of technology competence. Based on this, South Bohemia and Upper Austria are then considered as a combined area with high a potential for technology development, R&D career and innovative entrepreneurship.
